Keel Health ("Keel", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. Keel is a personal health intelligence application designed to help you understand and track your own health.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: journal entries, health goals, conditions, medications, lab results, mood data, and assessment responses. We also collect information about how you use the app, including pages visited and features used. If you connect a wearable device, we receive biometric data such as heart rate, sleep, and activity with your permission.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to provide and improve the Keel service. Your health data is used to personalize AI responses, generate health insights, and create doctor-ready reports. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent.
AI and Data Processing
Keel uses Claude, an AI model developed by Anthropic, to power health conversations and insights. Your health data is sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic's privacy policy governs their data handling. We send only the minimum data necessary to generate a relevant response.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a SOC 2 compliant database provider. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. No system is 100% secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can export your health data from within the app. You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us. We will respond to all data requests within 30 days.
Children
Keel is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
